ACCEPT:

• If it was performed to establish immunity and the donor is immune AND sores healed AND no follow is required
• If it was performed as contact tracing and the donor is not immune AND sores healed AND no follow up is required

DEFER:

• If unread read or waiting further investigation
• For 8 weeks from date of immunisation if donor was given BCG
• For 2 weeks from date the sores from BCG immunisation are fully healed
• Until all follow-up is complete if Mantoux test was performed as part of contact tracing (some of those donors will require BCG immunisation at the end of the follow up period)
