ACCEPT:
- If donor does not have cervical dysplasia / cervical carcinoma in situ
- If donor is having regular smears but no treatment is required
- If treatment for cervical dysplasia / cervical carcinoma in situ is completed and the donor has been discharged to routine screening. It is not necessary to wait for a normal smear results
DEFER:
- If donor is undergoing investigations or treatment
PERMANTENTLY EXCLUDE:
- If the donor was diagnosed with invasive cervical carcinoma
HUMAN PAPILLOMA VIRUS (HPV) – sexual contact with an infected person
ACCEPT:
- If donor’s sexual partner has been diagnosed with HPV
