PERMANENTLY EXCLUDE:
- a person who currently has hepatitis of unknown cause
2. Affected Individual – Past Resolved hepatitis
ACCEPT:
- a donor who had hepatitis of unknown cause before their 13th birthday, if they have made a full recovery
PERMANTENTLY EXCLUDE:
- a donor who had hepatitis of unknown cause on or after their 13th birthday, even if they have made a full recovery
3.Current sexual partner of the donor has hepatitis of unknown cause
- If donor’s current sexual partner has hepatitis of unknown cause
4. Former sexual partner of the donor had hepatitis of unknown cause
DEFER:
- For 4 months after the last sexual contact with the former sexual partner who had hepatitis of unknown cause
5. Current household contact of the donor has hepatitis of unknown cause
PERMANENTLY EXCLUDE
- If donor’s current household has hepatitis of unknown cause
6. Former household contact of the donor had hepatitis of unknown cause
DEFER:
- For 4 months after the last contact with the former household who had hepatitis of unknown cause
