Confirm by questioning that such donors have fully understood the Blood Safety

DEFER:

• For 4 months from conclusion of treatment if the donor was not clinically diagnosed with chlamydia following sexual contact but was treated empirically
• For 4 months after the full recovery and conclusion of treatment of the infected person following sexual contact, if no treatment was required
• If the sexual contact is on-going defer the donor for 4 months after the full recovery and conclusion of treatment of the infected person
