• If donor is able to climb onto bed unaided and no other deferral criteria applies

 PERMANENTLY EXCLUDE:

• If the donor has an indwelling shunt
• If the donor uses a catheter or has recurrent UTIs
• If the donor has a pressure sore
• If the donor had spinal surgery in the UK including Northern Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man on or after 01 January 1980
