ACCEPT:

• Secondary infection: If the donor did not require treatment and the sexual contact is on-going the donor can be accepted as the sexual contact’s infection is a secondary infection

DEFER:

• If the donor was not clinically diagnosed and did not require treatment following sexual contact, defer for 4 months following the last sexual contact with the infected person
• Primary infection: If the donor did not require treatment but the sexual contact is on-going defer the donor for 4 months after the full recovery of the sexual partner (infected person) and conclusion of all treatment
