ACTION:

• Ensure injury is not as a result of an epileptic fit

ACCEPT:  

• if the donor has been discharged from the follow up clinic, is off all medication and looks and feels fully recovered

PERMANTENTLY EXCLUDE:

• If the donor had a homologous blood transfusion in the Republic of Ireland on or after 01 January 1980
• If the donor had a homologous blood transfusion outside the Republic of Ireland at any time
