BAKERS CYST

BAKERS CYST-DSG-IBTS

NOTES:

A Bakers cyst occurs behind the knee and is associated with arthritis. It is caused by a build-up of fluid which needs to be drained. Drainage is usually by aspiration and therefore is not considered to be minor surgery.

 ACCEPT:

  • 24 hours after aspiration if the donor is well, and can climb onto the donor bed unaided.
