My role supports the advancement of research and surveillance activities related to donor health and management. This work contributes to the generation of evidence to inform policy development and decision making.
Research Interests
My primary research interests are in infectious disease epidemiology, particularly in assessing the prevalence of disease markers in blood donors and monitoring emerging trends. I am interested in how blood donor epidemiology can inform both recipient safety and provide broader public health insights. I am also interested in donor health, recruitment and retention. My main contributions to date have been in infectious disease research, including the establishment of a large SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence study in blood donors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
