Global Health

This year we were awarded funding through ESTER Ireland to develop a Global Health partnership with our counterparts in the Tanzanian National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS). We are still identifying areas to collaborate but will place a keen focus on the sustainability benefits of emergency-preparedness and equipment recycling. In addition, cultural exchange between our two organisations will serve to help us learn more about African donor recruitment and retention.
