ACCEPT:
- If mild, the venepuncture site is unaffected and only topical treatment is used
DEFER:
- If generalised and severe
- If associated with active arthropathy
- For 36 months following treatment with Acitretin (Neotigason)
- For 12 months following treatment with methotrexate
- For 12 months following treatment with Fumaderm
- 12 months following PUVA (psoralen plus ultraviolet A).
- If there is a secondary infection
PERMANENTLY EXCLUDE:
- If Etretinate (Tigason) has ever been used
